Brand Photography for a Birmingham Writer
When I first met Sadiah, she was working on her new book and wanted a collection of natural portraits that reflected both her personality and her work as a writer.
I travelled to her home in Birmingham, where we spent the session photographing in different rooms as well as outside. I loved working in her home because it was full of books, artwork and creative details that made every photograph feel personal and authentic.
We took a variety of portraits for her book and personal brand. The whole session felt relaxed and natural, and by the end we had created a beautiful collection of images that truly reflected who she is.
About a year later, Sadiah sent me a message with some exciting news. One of the portraits from our session had been published in The Guardian alongside her article. Moments like that are incredibly special. Seeing my photography become part of someone’s professional journey is one of the reasons I love brand photography so much.
