Madalina’s Boudoir Session in Birmingham
Madalina contacted me about a boudoir session, and we decided to do it in a beautiful hotel in Birmingham. Most of my boudoir sessions are actually outside my studio. I much prefer natural, lived-in spaces like hotels or Airbnbs because they give me so much more to work with creatively.
Madalina was so kind and offered to pick me up from Solihull, which meant we had plenty of time to chat on the way about her ideas and what she wanted from the session.
We chose a room with simple, neutral colours and beautiful natural light. Once we started, we moved around the room and played with different types of light, mainly using the windows, but also a lamp to create a completely different mood.
I also added some of my more artistic touches, experimenting with angles, movement and different positions.
It was such a fun session, with really lovely energy between us. I think that’s one of the most important things for me during a boudoir shoot. When the atmosphere feels relaxed and playful, the photographs naturally become more beautiful, personal and full of character.
Like I said many times to Irina as well, there is no words to describe how professional and amazing she is!
Had a boudoir photo session with this amazing girl and the experience was really a pleasure! Everything so easy and comfortable!! U never have to be worried about what to do or how to pose. she’s everytime just going around you and capture the best moment! Very friendly girl and that’s the most important when u have to take pictures and have TO BE YOU!
