I saw this quote today, and it instantly made me think of this beautiful soul.
We first met on a yoga retreat years ago, and I’ve admired her creativity, warmth and kindness ever since. Life took us on different paths, and now she’s creating beautiful music, coaching others, and living on a narrowboat surrounded by nature.
When she asked me to create her brand photographs, I was genuinely excited. Photographing someone you truly admire is such a joy. You already see their beauty before you even pick up the camera.
I believe that’s one of the biggest secrets behind natural portraits. It’s not just about the light, the location or the camera. It’s about connection. When someone feels seen, understood and appreciated, it shows in every single photograph.

I can’t recommend Irina Zoteeva enough. She is absolutely brilliant; she was really great at communicating before the photo shoot and during the shoot her enthusiasm for me and the photos I hoped to get was second to none.
