There is something quietly beautiful about a church wedding. The light through stained glass, the stillness before the doors open, the moment a partner turns to watch you walk in. These are the details that pass in seconds but stay with you for a lifetime.

I photograph church weddings across Solihull, Knowle and the wider West Midlands, working calmly and unobtrusively throughout the ceremony. My approach is documentary, I do not direct or interrupt. I simply stay close to the moments that matter and photograph them honestly.

What church wedding photography looks like with me

Every church is different. Some are flooded with natural light, others are darker and more atmospheric. I work with whatever the space gives me, adapting quietly so the ceremony always comes first.

I cover the full day  from morning preparations through to the reception or just the ceremony and portraits if you prefer a shorter package. There is no fixed formula.

Intimate church weddings

Smaller ceremonies in beautiful old churches are some of my favourite weddings to photograph. Fewer guests means less noise, more intimacy and images that feel genuinely personal.
