Family Photography in Leamington Spa: Anna, Erind and Mailo
Mailo turned one, and Anna wanted the session to feel like part of the celebration rather than a separate shoot. We met on Windmill Hill Lane in Leamington Spa, where the countryside gave us open fields and a quiet stone archway to work with.
Anna brought a basket filled with balloons and a bicycle, simple props that turned into the heart of the story. Mailo reached for the balloons, the bike gave the session a bit of scale and fun, and most of the best shots happened in between, while everyone was laughing rather than posing.
Sessions like this are exactly why I like working outdoors. No set list, just a family, good light, and whatever they bring with them. If you have an idea for your own session, a prop, a location, a milestone you want marked, bring it. I can build the shoot around it.
