Family Photoshoot at Home in Birmingham
When Chris booked this family session, he wanted to capture a little bit of everything that makes their family feel like home.
We started in the garden, where everyone could simply relax and enjoy being together. The grandparents joined in, and one of the stars of the session was their beautiful cat. Animals always seem to make everyone forget about the camera, and before long we were all playing with the cat, laughing, and capturing those natural little moments that you could never plan.
The grandparents spent time cuddling their grandson, the cat wandered in and out of the photos whenever it felt like it, and the whole afternoon had such a calm and happy atmosphere.
After that we moved inside the house for a few fun family photos in the living room. They also wanted some pictures in the bedroom because their little boy has a special hat that he absolutely loves to wear. It’s his comfort hat, so it felt important to include it. I love photographing little details like this because they often become some of the most meaningful memories years later.
To finish the session, we took a short walk to a nearby park, where the little one could run around and explore. It was the perfect ending to a relaxed family photoshoot that captured life at home, in the garden, and outdoors—all the places that mean the most to them.
We had Irina at our home for a family photo shooting. Her patience and enthusiasm made the whole experience so much fun and the final pictures were absolutely stunning — by far exceeding any expectations we had. And the photo selection was fully online and very convenient and the final edition was super fast. I would highly recommend her.
