Family Photoshoot at Home in Henley-in-Arden | Natural Family Photography
Sarah invited me to photograph something much more meaningful than just a family photoshoot — she wanted me to capture a day together. It was a special gathering to celebrate her husband’s 60th birthday, with the whole family coming together.
Before the session, I visited their home to look around, choose the best locations and plan how we could make the most of the day. It meant that when I returned for the photoshoot, everything felt relaxed and unhurried.
We started with family portraits around the house and in the beautiful garden. While different family members spent time together, we also created a few personal branding portraits for Sarah and her sons, each with their own personality and style.
One of my favourite moments was everyone playing with the family dog in the garden. There was so much laughter and so many genuine little moments that you simply can’t pose. Before I left, we walked over to their lovely pond, where we finished with a few peaceful portraits of Sarah surrounded by nature.
It was one of those sessions that wasn’t just about photographs. It was about preserving a day, celebrating family, and capturing memories that will become even more valuable over time.
WOW. Where to start. This was a wonderful experience. Irina attended our family celebrations on Saturday. She did a beautiful job of connecting with everyone in a warm and empathetic way. We all felt at ease in her presence. She was joyful and enthusiastic without being pushy or demanding. She followed our lead, taking numerous creative shots around both the garden and house, suiting old and young alike. At the end, she made time to include some portrait photography for business profiles, websites etc. I can honestly say the whole experience could not have gone better. I am so appreciative of Irina’s warmth, skill and professionalism. Thank you.
