This newborn session was a very special gift from Aimee’s colleagues, who surprised the family with a newborn photography gift voucher after Fynn arrived.
When I arrived at their home, the atmosphere was already calm and peaceful. Fynn was wonderfully relaxed, and we simply followed his pace throughout the session. There were feeding breaks, nappy changes and plenty of cuddles, with no rush at all.
I always tell new parents that a newborn photoshoot isn’t just about creating beautiful photographs—it’s also an opportunity to slow down and enjoy these precious first weeks together. While I photographed little moments with Fynn, I encouraged Mum and Dad to relax. If Aimee wanted a cup of tea or a quiet moment while Dad cuddled the baby, that was absolutely part of the experience. Those natural moments often become the most meaningful photographs.
We photographed Fynn in several cosy spots around the house, including his nursery, creating a variety of images that reflected their home and the beginning of their life together as a family. We also captured beautiful portraits of Aimee and Glenn together, as well as those precious first photographs of Dad holding his little boy.
The result was a collection of gentle, timeless photographs full of warmth and love—exactly the feeling I hope every family remembers when they look back at this special time.

Natural photography at its absolute best. Irina’s style of photography is amazing, she is able to capture the beauty of both the ‘moment’ as it happens but then spot further detail within that moment and quickly adjusts to capture that also. The most important thing is Irina is super relaxed, professional but most of all very friendly. On our new born shoot she is personally experienced with her own children so knows all the cues and techniques to help get the best out of those intimate moments and relationships that occur but also has the patience to go with all that might happen with a new born during those couple of hours 😅 The final edit of the photos are wonderful and for us the style of edit and colours pulled out in the photos really compliment the mood and environment.
