Why choose a newborn photoshoot at home
A home session creates a relaxed atmosphere. Parents do not need to travel with a tiny baby, and everything your baby needs is already around you.
This makes the experience much more peaceful.
During the session we work slowly and gently, following your baby’s rhythm. Feeding, cuddling and breaks are always part of the process.
Newborn photography should never feel rushed.

A natural and baby-led approach
My approach to newborn photography is very natural. I focus on connection, soft light and real moments between parents and their baby.
Instead of complicated poses, I capture the beauty of small details:
- tiny fingers
- sleepy smiles
- a parent’s gentle touch
- the quiet love in the room
These are the moments that become the most precious memories later.
When is the best time for newborn photos
The best time for newborn photography is usually during the first two weeks after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and curled up.
However, beautiful newborn photos can be created even a little later. Every baby is different, and the most important thing is that the session feels calm and comfortable
What to prepare for your newborn session
Newborn sessions at home are simple and relaxed.
Usually we only need:
- soft natural light near a window
- a neutral blanket or bed
- comfortable clothing for parents
- lots of cuddles
Simple surroundings help keep the focus on your baby and your connection as a family.
