Outdoor Maternity Photoshoot in Solihull

I had originally planned this maternity session in Brueton Park, but as I often do before an outdoor photoshoot, I arrived early to check the light. As soon as I got there, I realised the sun would disappear behind the trees much sooner than I had hoped. I knew we wouldn’t get that beautiful golden glow my clients were dreaming of.

So I gave them a quick call and asked if they would mind meeting me at Hillfield Park instead. It was only a few minutes away, but the difference was incredible. The light was absolutely beautiful, and we had plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed walk while creating natural, timeless photographs.

I always believe that choosing the right light is just as important as choosing the right location. Sometimes a small change makes all the difference, and this evening was the perfect example. I’m so glad we made that last-minute decision because the photographs turned out exactly as we had imagined.

Had an amazing shoot with Irina! This was a gift from my sisters, a maternity photoshoot. I was apprehensive as I’m not the most comfortable in front of the camera but the whole process with Irina was great! From picking the day, to the style of photos I wanted. I wanted golden hour photos and she was very flexible with the time and day to ensure we had best chances of getting good shots. Communication via WhatsApp was really easy, was simple process organising the time and date and also discussing the style of photos I wanted. She changed the location last minute to ensure I had the best background for the photos and the longest duration with the sun. The photos came very quickly and were perfect! Exactly what I wanted! I would definitely recommend her, she made us both feel so comfortable on the day! I can’t wait to print my photos for my nursery and home!
