Portrait Photography in Solihull: Laurie’s Artistic Studio Session
A Special Portrait Session for Laurie
Laurie’s grandmother, Jane, contacted me because she wanted to give her granddaughter something really personal for her birthday, a portrait session created completely around the things Laurie loves.
Laurie loves bikes, so Jane brought along her bike helmet and some different outfits to give us a few looks to work with. I loved that the whole session was built around Laurie’s personality rather than simply creating a traditional portrait.
We had beautiful natural daylight in the studio, and Laurie came with her mum and grandmother. They stayed nearby throughout the session, chatting, cheering her on and enjoying the experience together. We were all throwing ideas around, trying different outfits and having a lovely relaxed time.
It felt less like a formal photoshoot and more like a little family celebration.
At the end, they chose the mini package, but when they saw the photographs, they loved so many of them that they decided to take the whole collection. I always love that moment when a family sees the images together and realises just how much they have created in one session.
For Jane, it started as a thoughtful gift for her granddaughter. For all of them, it became a beautiful memory they could keep.

Amazing photos as was lrina made my granddaughter photo shoot a memory she will treasure.
