My story

I love photography since childhood. My first camera was a Codak film, I shot with it very often and a lot. 

I bought myself a Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 when I was at Uni. I remember how my photo was chosen as the photo of the day on the Nature of Baikal website and I became famous among hikers and website visitors.

In 2006, I won an engineering competition, where the prize was a 6-month internship in the UK. I bought myself a Canon EOS 350D + 18-55mm as a gift and shot all of England, Wales and Scotland with it. 

Then my husband bought a Nikon 7000D, and I became interested in photography on iPhone 4S, 6, 10 and 12 pro max mobile phones. I liked the compactness and the ability to immediately take photos online. 

In 2019, I completed my first online course on mobile processing and photography with Elena Pinnivuh. I understood how you can recreate the atmosphere in a photo with the help of color correction. 

In 2020 I took the course “Mobile Photographer 8” with Regina Bakirova. Then there was the video course “VCS 2.0” and immediately after it was the photo course “Photosreda” by Maxim Kozlov. Then I realized that I missed the camera and its capabilities and began to shoot every day on Nikon 7000D (Nikkor 18-140 3.5-5.6) my twins and family. 

In 2022, she took a large-scale “Spectrum” course with Sonya Chernykh where I won a  competition and I started doing commercial shooting with the camera. I bought myself a Sony A7R5 (Sigma Art 85 1.4, Sigma art 35 1.4 and Tamron 28-200 2.8-3.5) and took another video shooting course from Alena and Sergey Pluzhnikov “Shooting beautifully” 

In 2023, I began to share my knowledge and teach. At first, on the course with Regina Bakirova as a curator, and then I created my mentoring photo club “Zotira”
